The Shuk in Sderot is open on Sundays and Tuesdays from 6:45 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. The stands are lively and filled with displays from the best and freshest fruits and vegetables straight from the fields of the moshavim in the area, and include colorful, mouthwatering sweets, as well as quality clothing at low prices. The Shuk's reputation has reached far and wide among market lovers, and many of the 70,000 tourists visiting Sderot every year prefer to make their visits on Sundays and Tuesdays so that they don't miss the experience.
About 10 years ago, the Shuk had a face lift. It was covered with a beautiful roof protecting it from the rain in the winter and the sweltering summer sun. Other additions include stationary stands, parking, restrooms, and even a shelter just in case it is unexpectedly needed.
How to get there: On Waze, look for the Municipal Shuk, Sderot.
